SESSION DESCRIPTIONS:

Working & Homeschooling: How Do I Make This Work?

You CAN work and homeschool your children but this lifestyle does present a series of challenges. I’m here to encourage you by giving you some real-life tips and tools on how your family can make this lifestyle work.

Entrepreneurship as Part of Your Homeschool Journey

Over 60% of kids want to start a business that means that you probably have a child who fits in that statistic so why not include entrepreneurship as part of your homeschool journey? Launching and running a business can teach a child so many life skills planning, goal setting, measuring progress, keeping commitments, responsibility, dealing with disappointment, negotiating, relationships, and more! This workshop walks you through the process of including entrepreneurship as part of your homeschool experience rather than as just one more thing to do.

Conflict vs. Bullying: What’s the Difference? (And How to Develop Healthy Conflict Resolution Skills)

Many adults and children struggle to know the difference between conflict and bullying, much less feel confident in how to handle a situation when confronted with it. In this workshop, you will learn quick and effective tools you can implement and teach today to tackle this growing issue. This is a great workshop for Parents, Tweens / Teens, and Leaders!

Bullying, Cyberbullying, and Gaming Bullying: What Every Parent Needs to Know

Did you know the highest percentage of cyberbullying is not in teenagers? Did you know the average age of gaming bullying is 9? Did you know that kids are now dealing with bullying before age 5? Bullying is not a school issue; it's a cultural issue. It’s in our neighborhoods, churches, co-ops, VBS programs, camps, neighborhoods, workplaces, and even families. You will learn ways to help protect your children from these different forms of bullying, teach them to speak up for themselves and for others, and be given resources to assist in watching for and handling bullying.

Self-Care as a Family: 8 Areas of Self-Care for the WHOLE Family

Self-care is more than bubble baths and coffee dates. Do you long for a peaceful home and less stress?  In today’s world, stress and anxiety are common not just for adults. Our kids are more stressed than ever. Join me as we look at all 8 areas of self-care that you can teach and implement in your home today! These tools will help you set your family up for success for the long road.

We're looking forward to seeing you in Rochester this weekend!
