With TJ Schmidt from HSLDA and Homeschool New York
Join us for one of our informative events designed to equip homeschool families with insights on current issues affecting homeschooling in New York. Learn how to advocate effectively for homeschool freedom at the local school district level and with elected and appointed state officials. Don’t miss this opportunity to stay informed and empowered!
These are open to all homeschoolers, not just members of Homeschool New York or HSLDA - we must stand united to face the current threats to homeschooling from the government and from those who fear and resent our freedom.
Bring the Whole Family!
We are homeschoolers, so of course, this is a family-friendly event and families will sit together. Remember, every Individual Home Instruction Programs (IHIP) has a section for Citizenship; participating in this event together with your children is a great way to accomplish that!
Why Register?
Homeschool New York / NYS LEAH is a Christian organization. Our Christian faith directs our Legislative and Public Policy efforts to protect and expand the freedom of all parents to home educate their children, regardless of whether they are our members or not. We seek to stand together with all of New York's homeschoolers in the public square to advocate together for our rights.

Binghamton Bonus Event:
While we have many of our homeschooling families gathered together, we thought it would be fun to have a Used Curriculum Sale on that day, too. Admission will be $1, and books can be dropped off at the gym at Ross Corners Christian Academy right before the Roadshow event. After dropping off your books, go listen to TJ's presentation while the books are being sorted by grade and subject. Then, when TJ is done, we can go shopping in the gym for some great homeschool curriculum deals!
Also, the Faith in History Players, our homeschool history/drama class, will run a concession stand for lunch. Proceeds from the concession stand will go towards the costumes of their spring production of "The Crown of Terror."
Here's all the Binghamton Bonus event info, including how to participate in the Used Curriculum Sale!
